I-PEX has released CABLINE^®-CA IIP PLUS, which is compatible with both twinax and micro-coaxial cables, adding to its existing CABLINE^® series of connectors.
CABLINE^®-CA IIP PLUS is optimized for high-speed 64 Gbps/lane PAM4 internal connections, featuring full 360° EMC shielding for noise immunity.

In recent years, high-speed transmission has rapidly advanced in the enterprise market, particularly for AI servers, leading to a growing need to improve the signal integrity (SI) performance of components used in these systems. This product has been developed to meet the long-distance transmission requirements of SmartNICs and DPUs for card connections that are compatible with PCIe Gen 6.0.

Product Overview: This product features a small size and low profile (H=1.14mm) with a 0.4 mm pitch, horizontal mating direction, and 60 pins.

• Supports high-speed transmission 64 Gbps/lane PAM4 using paddle card technology.

• Twinax cable AWG#34 is suitable for long-distance transmission. It also supports micro-coaxial cable AWG#36 and #38 for easy cable routing.

• Prevents EMI leakage with 360˚ EMC shielding and a multi-point ground design.

 

CABLINE^®-CA IIP PLUS is supplied as a harness assembly.
We can also provide a combination harness with a standard PCIe^® CopperLink™ internal cable connector (SNIA SFF-TA-1016).
